Elf on the Shelf Ideas | Christmas 2022

Forget sprinkling fake snow footprints around the house and glugging down that glass of milk your little one left out the evening before. Sure, there is nothing like seeing the excitement on their faces, but there is a new trend in town for Christmas 2022. Everyone knows Elf on the Shelf, have you heard of Elves Behaving Badly?

Similar to "The Elf on the Shelf", the premise is that each night, your elf flies to the North Pole to tell Santa Claus whether your children have been naughty or nice. It's a cute way to keep the spirit of Santa alive—and encourage good behavior in your children in anticipation of Christmas (and hopefully all year round).
Whereas "Elves Behaving Badly" is a new concept, Elfie The original bad boy elf. He can destroy a Christmas tree in under thirty seconds and holds the world record for eating too many candy canes. Elfie is a true rebel without a Claus. This activity sees parents, grandparents, family members and guardians wake up extra early every morning (or at night after the kids have gone to bed) to place the Elf in a different area or room of the house, usually up to some sort of mischief. It's a firm favourite in many family households as the nearly month-long event sees kids race around the house looking for their Scout Elf each morning.
Here are some unique ideas below to prepare for the run up to christmas;
